Psalm 93

Do the circumstances of your life push and shove you about? If so, then ask the Lord to let this Psalm leave its impact on you. Images of permanency, stability, constancy, and timelessness move through the psalm. Pray slowly, until you are resting before the throne of God. No outer or inner source need ever move you from there. Your God is higher and mightier than what is coming against you. Trust God’s changeless love for you and God’s power over your circumstances. May you come to know this with such assurance, that you are totally resting in the Lord.

Teresa of Avila expressed it this way: “This too will pass … God alone suffices.”
