The Whiteness of God’s Glory

Daniel 12

This chapter of Daniel is similar to the Gospel accounts of Jesus speaking about the final times. The images of Daniel’s vision—own them. Recall the vision of the saints in Revelation 7:14, read a few Thursdays ago, those who “Washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.”

Made white by what is red—that is transformation of suffering into glory. The blood of Jesus flows over you; pain and suffering are turned into glory.

Your King dies on the cross for you. As you are lifted onto the cross with Jesus, you are also lifted into the glory of the resurrection.
