Easter Tuesday, April 2, 2012
The Holy Spirit that infused the writer of Proverbs is now about to fill you with wisdom as we live more consciously in the risen body of Jesus. The first three Tuesdays in Easter time this year are devoted to three chapters of Proverbs.
When visiting a holy place filled with masterpieces of art, there needs to be a slow pace while contemplating each piece. Let the pace be as you pray these proverbs. Set every one into a surrounding silence of the heart, letting each proverb soak that area of your soul where you are most in need.
Hold verse 5 in your hand and heart. Are there spiritual friends in your life who are open to the wisdom of the Holy Spirit? When praying over verses 11-12, do not be an ostrich when it comes to wrongdoing.
By wisdom a house is built. v. 3
Wisdom: honey for the soul v. 14
Enemies fall: heart not glad v. 17
Honest answer: kiss on lips v. 26
