Troubles Spread Out Before God

Hezekiah took the letters from the messengers and read them.
Then he went to the temple and spread them out before the Lord.

2 Kings 19:14

At last we have a good king to read about! His name is Hezekiah, King of Judah. The wicked king of Syria named Sennacherib sends a bold letter to Hezekiah, trying to have him no longer trust in the one true God. How bold and defiant is this wicked king!

Messages between the two kings go back and forth. Look what Hezekiah does about all this toward the end of our reading in chapter 19 from v.14. Think about what the king does and see if you could do something similar with anything that is troubling you in your life.

2 Kings 18:19—19:19
