Then I looked on as the Lamb opened one of the seven seals. I heard one of the four living creatures say in a voice like thunder, “Come!” So I looked, and there was a white horse. Its rider held a bow and was given a crown.
And he went forth from victory to victory.
The word “revelation” means “to remove the veil” This book is about God not only taking the veil away, to show us God’s power and might, but many other mysterious things about goodness and evil are shared with us.
But the revelation is also about ourselves! Inside each of us are the possibilities of being good and bad. Sometimes when we do bad things it’s because there is some hurt or negative feelings that are shut up and sealed inside of us. When the seal is broken and the feelings come out as they really are, then they are less likely to show themselves in bad actions.
So let the veil in front of your feelings be pulled back! Find a friend, your parents, or brothers or sisters and ask them to listen to your feelings. Sometimes we get to know what we feel when we share in this way. Of course you can always share your feelings with God who will never judge you. You can just talk to God or even write out what you feel. Be sure and accept yourself. Feelings are neither good nor bad. So just accept…let yourself see what you feel…take the veil away! It will be part of the very revelation of God to you!
