Chimes and Doorbells

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth.
    Worship the Lord with gladness;
    come into his presence with singing.

Psalm 100:1-2

Here is a short, wonderful psalm that you could easily memorize…not a bad idea, for when you find yourself without your Bible, memorized verses can have you feel connected to God.

Take each hour of the day as a “court” in the house of the Lord. Imagine clocks all around the land chiming each hour, inviting you to enter through the “gates” of each hour as though the chiming clocks are like doorbells you ring to come into each space of time.

This is a beautiful psalm with feelings and sentiments so basic to God and our relation with God. So soak yourself in the psalm and watch your day come alive!
