The number forty is a number that means completion and fullness. So it is that for forty days and nights Moses is on the mountain with God; forty years the people wander in the desert; forty days and night Jesus is in the desert hungry and being tempted by the devil.
What a great man Moses was! God trusted him enough to show him His face in a personal and very direct manner. So much was Moses in touch with God that Moses’ face glowed after his conversations with God!
You know, the same can happen to you when you are in touch with God. There will be a smile, a peace, and even a glow on your face that will quietly make others think not just of you, but of God… Won’t that be wonderful?
Here is a sample of a seven-syllable breath-prayer

My face shines with Your presence. v. 29

Saturdays are dedicated to the Sabbath Torah portions
read in synagogues throughout the world.
This plan follows those traditions that take a third of the portion
over a three year cycle, this year, the second part.
