Let God In

Have you every gone into a store, push and push to open the door, only to find that there’s a sign that says “Pull!”  No matter how much we push on the door, there is no way it will open!

In chapter 49 and 50, Jeremiah makes a list of neighboring nations encircling God’s people who are pushing against God.  Just as the door that says: “Pull,” God won’t budge.  But these countries keep trying and trying to push.  They simply waste their time, instead of being open to God—to give a gentle pull and let God into their lives.

Think about how you may be pushing against God instead of opening yourself and inviting God to enter the door of your heart.  Let God in!
