The Blood of Jesus

For the life of the flesh is in the blood; and I have given it to you for making atonement for your lives on the altar; for, as life,
it is the blood that makes atonement. Leviticus 17:11

Your heart is the pump that pushes your blood throughout your body.  This causes you not only to be alive, but when your blood flows in your brain, you are then aware of your own self as you look out into the world.

Jesus shed his blood for us on the cross as an act of the greatest love.   Because of this, the Holy Spirit flows through you like divine blood that gives us the power to love as Jesus.

The command not to drink blood was because it would be sign of great disrespect to another living being to do that.  Jesus changed all that when he gave us the gift of the sacrament of his blood in the wine or juice of Holy Communion.  So Jesus totally gave us his whole life.  His Spirit lives in us.  The very life of God flows with the movement of your own blood!

Leviticus 17:10-14
