After forty years of wandering, with just a small river to cross to enter the Promised Land, another problem comes up. Some of the tribes want to stay on the east side of the Jordan and not enter into the wonderful new land that God has offered them. Moses has to be sure that they are not wimping out and not wanting to help each other enter their new land.
It’s important that we stay faithful together to what God wants of us. Though there are plans that God has for you, still God wants you to help out friends, classmates, relatives and to stay close to one another to support each one’s special calls in life. We are not meant to go it alone as we enter into the future. You know, the future is kind of a “Promised Land” that God has in store for you!
