Here’s an idea. Take a piece of paper and a pencil. For exactly three minutes, jot down as many things as you can of what you are thankful for…the longer the list, the greater the joy inside you.
This is what the writer of Psalm 147 does. He makes a list of the wonders of God. Just as every Wednesday, the center of the week, when we read a psalm like this one, we are connected to God, the center of life.
Here is a gift to wonder and to be so very grateful for: the finest of wheat that is Christ’s body in Holy Communion.
