What a terrible persecutor of Christians Paul was, until Jesus appeared to him on the road to Damascus! That encounter with Jesus was so strong, that it rebounded in Paul’s life by his spending three years in the quiet of a desert-something like what John the Baptist and Jesus did in the beginning of their ministry.
You and I have a call just like Paul-one that grows inside us, just as our arms and legs did in our mother’s womb. It wasn’t until Paul met Jesus that a new direction came for his life. The same is true for you and me. We need to meet Jesus each day in prayer.
Say! If you pray like this with the Bible every day for three years and thus read just about the whole Bible, you’ll have the same amount of time as Paul did to get ready to be an apostle! God has great things lined up for you!
Thursdays are dedicated to the New Testament, except the Gospels.
This year in the season of Advent to Epiphany we read
the letters of Titus, Philemon, Galatians and Philippians.
