Love Draws Families Together

It would have been easy for Joseph to take revenge on his brothers.  After all, how cruel they had been to him just a few years before.  But there was no need for revenge, for Joseph knew that God would do what was needed to be done in the name of justice; Joseph didn’t need to do that.

God’s mercy is greater than His justice.  The love that God had for Joseph’s mean brothers was greater than God’s anger to punish them.  Because Joseph was close to God, he felt the same way.

I hope you enjoy this wonderful story of a family being brought back together by the constant love of one other member.  Your love can draw your family together!

Genesis 44:18—45:15

We follow a plan of reading the first five books of the Bible, the Torah, on Saturdays in fifty-four portions divided over the year,
from autumn through summer.
Synagogues have been following this method for thousands of years!

These Firestarters are from a new edition of The Bible Through the Seasons being developed for families with children. For the Firestarters in the original edition, I recommend the ebook.  You will have the entire program of well over a thousand of these introductions with you on your phone or table! Check the menu options at the site for more information.
