“Whaz Up?”

Like someone beckoning you with their hands to come on over, so does this star invite three star-gazers to see “Whaz up?” Look at what happens when they follow their hearts as well as their eyes!  The energy for the search just won’t let up until they are at the side of Jesus.

The joy of their search is set against the fear, anger and commotion of Herod and all Jerusalem.  Imagine—Jerusalem…there’s the center of study and searching to find Jesus—and they get all upset!  Some foreigners find Jesus before they do.  The Jerusalem mongers weren’t even looking—they didn’t want to find Jesus.

Do you want to find Jesus?  Do you go where he is?  One of the places is obvious…Sunday worship.

Matthew 2:1-12

Sundays are dedicated to the Gospels from the Lectionary,
This year is dedicated especially to the Gospel of St. Matthew.

These Firestarters are from a new edition of The Bible Through the Seasons being developed for families with children. For the Firestarters in the original edition, I recommend the ebook.  You will have the entire program of well over a thousand of these introductions with you on your phone or table! Check the menu options at the site for more information.
