Joshua began as a young warrior; here he’s an old man and the land had not fully been possessed that God had promised them.
Some things just take lots of time! We’re used to living in a microwave generation with computers that can work faster and faster. Is there something that you would like to have happen and it seems as though it’s just taking a long, long time? Hang in their like Joshua and all the heroes that we have been reading about in the Bible. What’s important is that we be faithful to God’s call that will be complete in God’s timing, not ours.
