My Heart on Fire with Your Love

Precious metals like gold and silver are placed in a very hot oven to burn away any impurities or other minerals that have no value to them.  Verse 6 of our Psalm for today uses this idea when the writer shares the meaning of God’s Word for him. “The Lord’s promises are pure, like silver that’s been refined in an oven, purified seven times over!”

Here is a Bible Breath, as you imagine the fire of God’s love burning away all that distracts you, leaving you one with God and God’s love—three syllables on the inhale, three on the exhale, and one for the rest before your breathing cycle beings again.  Here is the Bible Breath: “My heart on fire with Your love.”

 Psalm 12
