For years there has been a very famous show on TV called “The Price is Right.” The contestant who guesses the right price of expensive items, gets many prizes. When there’s a winner, a curtain is drawn back to show the prizes. The audience goes “Oooo!” as they look inside. The winner usually starts jumping around.
In the letter to the Ephesians, Paul pulls back the curtain on all the prizes that God has given to us in Jesus. He is as excited as a winner in a great contest…but it’s a contest won by Jesus. During this journey from Lent to Easter, we’ll find Thursdays to be a special time of encouragement when we read the wonderful prizes that have been won for us by Jesus.

the Book of Acts, and the Book of Revelation.
