In the journey through the Bible that you’re on, we plunge into the Book of Acts for the seven weeks of Easter. This being the first year in the three-year cycle, we start with chapter one—right at the beginning.
Acts is a great book to read in the Easter season, because it’s all about God’s Holy Spirit released after Jesus’ death and resurrection. Sometimes the book of Acts is called “The Gospel of the Holy Spirit” because it’s all about what God’s Holy Spirit did when the church first began.
As we’ve often suggested, put yourself right there in all the adventures with the Holy Spirit in this book.
Thursdays are dedicated to the letters of Paul, other letters,
the Book of Acts, and the Book of Revelation.
This year in Easter Season we read Acts 1—9.
