Being Born Again

A very curious Jewish religious leader, Nicodemus, comes to Jesus at night to find out what he is all about.  I suppose he’s a bit shy to do this in the daytime, since other leaders with him were very jealous and rejecting of Jesus.  But here he comes at night…when it’s dark, and talks with the One who is Light of the World.

Think about old life and new life, about the old Adam and the new Adam.  Nicodemus is thinking the old ways, so he doesn’t understand Jesus as a new Adam who is living a new kind of life. It’s so new, that it’s like being born all over again!

Do you feel that your life with Christ is like being a whole new person…like being born again?
