The Microscope and the Soul

Harry Potter wouldn’t be able to do one up on all the evils going on in God’s holy Temple that God invites Ezekiel to see.  How upset God was then and in the world today, in the way that people not only ignore God, but show great disrespect for how God wants us to live!

Like the hole in the wall where God asks Ezekiel to peer through, imagine that there is a hole in your heart where you can look way down into your own soul.  It’s as though you are peering through the eyepiece of a microscope.

Is your soul, your very self, a true reflection of God’s life in you?

 Ezekiel 8:7-14

Mondays are dedicated to the reading of the Hebrew Prophets.
This year in the Easter Season
we read selections from Ezekiel 1—16.

These Firestarters are from a new edition of The Bible Through the Seasons being developed for families with children. For the Firestarters in the original edition, I recommend the ebook.  You will have the entire program of well over a thousand of these introductions with you on your phone or table! Check the menu options at the site for more information.
