Imagine: just when things are at their worst for the world and all its sinfulness, God decides to continue sending grace “full steam ahead” our way. Thanks to Jesus’ death on the cross and the resurrection, an eternal flow of forgiving love from God has been sent into the world. Very simply put: not matter how great the sin, it is never greater than God’s love. God loves the worst of sinners most of all. St. Paul puts it this way in v. 21: “Where sin increased, grace multiplied even more.”
All we need do is day by day, hour by hour, even minute by minute say, “Yes” to God’s love and into our hearts it flows!
