We are in the final week of the season I refer to as Pentecost—the season of the Holy Spirit. What a chapter in Isaiah filled with glory! If you had a chance to have vacation by the sea, picture the vast expanse of ocean with all its mystery, imagining with Isaiah the final sounds of ancient sea monsters who will no longer live in the ocean. If your vacation was in the mountains, imagine a mountain where the heavenly city, the New Jerusalem rests.
God will triumph over all enemies. You and I belong to the renewed people of which Isaiah speaks.
As thou you have a metal detector in your hand, sweep across the verses of this chapter to find the ones that send a kind of beep into your heart. These are treasures for you.
