Imagine having a ruler at school in which the space between the numbers was sometimes an inch, other times more or less. It would be impossible to figure out how long an object is!??Imagine a house built with a phony measuring tape. It wouldn’t be able to stand very long!During the times of Isaiah measuring with the ruler of justice and fairness just wasn’t happening. But Isaiah promises a time when fairness would return again. There would also be a cornerstone set into the “house” of God’s people which would make it very strong and stable.
Jesus Christ is that cornerstone. He is the one that will make our lives stand strong in joy and peacefulness. Sit for a moment and rest in Jesus as your cornerstone. Enjoy stopping for a moment to feel your connection to Jesus in your heart.
