As a result of all this, my loved brothers and sisters, you must stand firm, unshakable, excelling in the work of the Lord as always, because you know that your labor isn’t going to be for nothing in the Lord.
1 Corinthians 15:58

“Have you hugged a tree today?” How’s that for a bumper sticker! It’s a very beautiful idea, making us feel the connection to trees as though they are persons. Since the strange snow at the end of October, I’ve been aware of trees. How sad they must have felt when large branches broke off from the weight of the snow on the leaves!
The snow soon melted, however, giving us the feeling of autumn again with acorns lying on the ground. The great oak trees were once just like one of the thousands of acorns lying about. Like an acorn falling into the ground to become an oak, the body of Jesus buried becomes his risen body. We live in this body now and for always, after we die.
Paul shares his thoughts about this. Read slowly, so you can feel how wonderful is the comparison Paul makes between Adam and Jesus.
