The Lord Most High is the one who gives life to every heart,
who gives life to the spirit!
17 Look, he indeed exchanged my bitterness for wholeness.
Isaiah 38:16-17

If the four seasons were like the hours of a day, autumn would be the evening. No more going out to play after supper, since it is too dark.
Before you turn on the TV or Nintendo, pray this prayer along with King Hezekiah. He has just been thinking that his life is over as though his life were like the evening of a day. Like a pitcher of water being poured out, so does his prayer flow out—even some complaining to God whom the King thinks has not treated him very well. The King knows he can turn to God for everything.
So can you and me. Take all your feelings about what’s going on in your mind and heart these days, and just pour them all out in prayer to God who listens, love and heals.
