“I am the Lord’s servant. Let it be with me just as you have said.”
Luke 1:38

Imagine quietly entering the room where the teen-age girl, Mary, is praying. The peace of Mary’s gentle, loving, open heart fills the space. Enter Angel Gabriel who brightens the room even more, adding the warmth and joy of his message. Imagine: Mary is asked to allow God to place God’s only Son in her womb. The body of Jesus will be woven each day as though God is stitching together a precious fabric.
As you feel this time of prayer for yourself, know that God has plans for your life to bring forth Jesus, just as was God’s plan for Mary. She offers us an example of humility, gentleness and love which are just the qualities that God needs in us to find a resting place in our hearts.
You have been given a wonderful mission in life to have God become real for others. May this bring you much joy and happiness.
