God’s Special Love for You

These chapters of Isaiah are filled with hope and joy as God gently deals with his people. God’s voice is tender and loving.  Read today’s passage slowly and aloud, even if you are alone;  hearing increases the impact of what God is saying to you.

Though God is speaking through Isaiah, the words come after God first listens. God listens to and receives our deepest feelings. God loves you in such a way that it would seem as though you are the favorite son or daughter. In the silence, let this fact of faith sink into your soul as soft rain moistens the earth.

Some people think that with God having such a vast universe to manage, how can God have time for   each one of us?   This is God’s miracle—that you are the most important of God’s creatures.  Think about this amazing grace of God in loving you so much.  This will have you feel love for others as God feels love for you.
