We need space for rest and quiet after strong experiences, especially after the death of a loved one. It is the same for Jesus after the death of his cousin John the Baptist. However, the crowds do not give him a chance; they find where he is.
You and I become annoyed when rest is interrupted. Jesus entrusts all his needs to the Father. Immense compassion wells up within him. The people have no shepherd.
Keep searching and finding Jesus today and everyday. The Lord has immense compassion for you and wants to gather you into the sheepfold of his healing. Do not give up. Only the hem of his garment is all you need; Jesus gives you much more than that!
