Qualities of Leadership

Every Christian is a minister of the Gospel; however, certain ones are appointed to lead or “supervise,” the meaning of the Greek, episkopos. The qualities of leadership described here are ones for us to establish in ourselves, no matter how God call us to lead. “Married only once,” means faithful to one spouse.

As you read these qualities, find a place for them in your own spirit as each one touches your strings within that need to be “tuned.” When you are out of tune, allow the Spirit do the adjusting, as you surrender to the Lord who alone can make you into the person God created you to be.

Chapter 5 contains sound Biblical principles that you will want to meditate upon in the course of your day. How do you measure up to them?
