A sacred thread is held out as we begin to read from the Book of Proverbs. Every season of grace in the three-year cycle is woven together for a few Tuesdays that become blessed by these golden words.
All of God’s Word needs a space that you create within and around you—a kind of open, empty womb, as Mary’s, to receive the overshadowing and in-flooding of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, be in a holy, receptive disposition of heart and mind as you listen to these words.
Remain in the kiln of prayer. Then you will be ready to respond outwardly, as you share the salt of your wisdom and the light of your life in God with a tasteless, hungry, darkened world.
