As we read on Saturdays from the book of Leviticus, it is forbidden to eat the blood of the animals offered. Blood belongs to God. As in the case of Leviticus, there is a call to holiness that Paul places upon the Colossians. Joy increases as you read the conclusion to this first chapter. There is such spiritual energy in Paul and an unrelenting enthusiasm to share his Christ with everyone. Pray for this same desire. Open yourself to the beauty of the truths expressed here and be set on fire with need for a wider space for burning.
Someone today needs your fervor, so that his or her spirit can catch fire with yours. Be watchful in prayer for this person and others.
